Data Centre Network Engineer (5 years experience)

Pozíció leírás

  • Manage network and security devices on DCN Benelux datacenters
  • Provide technical support, fix escalated technical problems, propose solutions to guarantee the customer infrastructure availability, dedicated and shared on the DC
  • CAB participation: analyze and apply exploitation changes and network / security deployment for customer infrastructure
  • Follow the good application of change and incident ticket linked to customers; Respect ITIL processes, incidents and changes SLA
  • Incident Management participation: root cause analysis, diagnostics, resolution, escalation, patch upgrade, procedure writing
  • On duty organization participation, with good skill level and autonomy
  • Lead technical expertise on high skilled issues, with deep analysis
  • Work with Design team and provide network and firewall expertise

  • Virtualization: UCS, HP Blade deployment, Vcenter, Virtual switch DVS, Cisco nexus 1000v, Vmware NSX
  • Firewalls: Fortigate, Fortimanager, FortiDDOS, Cisco ASA
  • Switches & routers: Nexus 9000 NXOS, 7000, 5000, Cisco ASR
  • BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Nexus VPC protocols, SAN switches, DNS and IPPLAN best practices is an advantage
  • Netscaler, Fortigate, Bluecoat proxy, URL and IPS filtering, Check point Firewalls, Nagios, Solarwind, scripting is an advantage

  • Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements
  • Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes during delivering a service
  • Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group setting to achieve common goals
  • The ability to convey information to someone effectively and efficiently while creating a good first impression and engaging the audience is an advantage
  • Ability to comprehend and to systematically organize the various aspects of a problem or situation
  • Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision is an advantage
